Theological Equipping Class (TEC)

What are these classes about?

Our Theological Equipping Classes aim to equip the people of Parkway to be good theologians — people who think rightly about God and His Kingdom — for the sake of making disciples in our homes, neighborhoods, offices, and beyond.
For example, how many of us feel equipped to have a conversation with someone about how God can be one God, and also three persons? Or how well would you answer your neighbor’s question about how God can be good and yet the world is full of evil? How can we trust the Bible if we don’t have the original manuscripts? Or why do Christians seem to uphold some Old Testament prohibitions, but not others?
Dealing with questions like these is at the heart of our classes. We spend about an hour diving deep into various theological topics, with a few minutes of Q&A at the end of each class. We hope that these classes will help us think rightly about our God, which would lead to a deeper affection for who He is, and a great joy for what he has done.
