Sunday Nights from 5:30p-7:30p in the Youth Building*
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." Deut. 6:4-7
We believe that the model of discipleship above casts parents as the primary disciplers of their kids. With this in mind, our Youth Ministry aims to partner with parents in teaching their kids about who God is, what He has done, and who we are as a result.
On Sunday nights from 5:30p-7:30p, the Youth Ministry gathers for a time of singing, Bible teaching, and smaller group discussion. We desire to partner with parents in helping our older kids learn how to actively engage with the word of God, and to develop critical thinking skills that can help them to consider and interpret the scriptures rightly. Our hope is that the students of Parkway would be disciples of Jesus who are integral participants in the life of the church body.
