Sundays at 9:00am*
We believe that everyone is a theologian. The question is whether or not you're a good one. A good question to ask yourself is, "Do you think rightly about the King and His kingdom?"
The word theology comes from two Greek words: λoγος (logos) meaning “word” and θεoς (theos) meaning “God.” Theology is the study of God or a word about the God whose word is ultimate. His word was the means of creation and redemption and this word is personified in His Son. Creation, redemption and Redeemer are all revealed in Scripture which is divine self-revelation to man.
Theology is not a dry and dull academic exercise, it is an opportunity to see and savor Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Since God has revealed Himself, we have the opportunity and responsibility to receive this revelation with joy and excitement. Therefore, we want to cultivate a culture of hungering for Scripture so that we are better equipped to think, feel, and live rightly.
This semester, we are studying the Doctrine of Salvation. For more information, you can take a look at our syllabus (what we'll be studying each week). We hope you'll come check out a class and join us in treasuring truth together!
*Our Theological Equipping Classes meet each Sunday from 9:00am to 10:15am with the exception of the months of December and July. We take breaks from these classes because we believe that regular rhythms of rest are important in the life of the believer.
